The Feud Between Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney.
Paul McCartney always just tells it like it is, from saying Yoko Ono was the reason the band broke up, to openly talking about this random Michael Jackson feud. This feud ended up being life long and all started when Michael got some advice from Paul that he took a little too seriously. Lets get into why two of the most amazing people in music history had a life long random feud.
The Beatles got cheated out of their music.
The Beatles had known nothing about publishing rights to music when they first got a manager. This was when Dick James, the man who cheated them from their music, wrote up a contract that gave himself 51% of the rights and 49% to the Beatles. The band had left town to go to Rishikesh one day and Dick used that time to sell the complete collection of Beatles music to the highest bider. When the Beatles returned they had the contract shown to them which proved that Dick in fact had all the right to sell the collection. Of course the Beatles were upset and wanted their music back, as they hated selling out and having their music in commercials.
The advice Paul had given to Michael.
It all started when one day Michael called Paul asking him if they could collaborate on some music. Paul was happy that the hottest pop star was wanting to collaborate and offered to have him over to his home in England where they could get to know each other. Michael asked Paul for music advice, Paul told him to get a good manager, make some great videos, and get into music publishing. Paul mentioned to Michael that the Beatles had gotten cheated out of the rights to their music and recently the collection had come up for auction. Michael then told Paul "I'm going to buy your songs, you know?" and Paul laughed thinking Michael would never do that to him and that he was joking. Oh, and together they wrote and recorded two kind of dorky songs that are complete and total bops.

Michael bought the music.
When the Beatles music came back on the market Paul was very excited to get his music back. He called Yoko and told her that they needed to bid on this, thinking the songs would go for 20 million he offered to pay 10 if she paid 10. Yoko told him that there was no way they would go for that much and thought they would get it for 5 million. When the biding actually started the songs went for around 50 million instead. Paul couldn't purchase them for that price and so he pulled out, just to find that the person who had taken his music from him was none other than the man he let know about the auction in the first place, Michael.
He confronted Michael.
When Paul found out about the whole thing he called up Michael to ask him why he decided to do that. Michael just replied with saying "It's just business, it's just business" Paul said "Well, sure but it's also friendship and morals." Michael went on to sell the Beatles music to as many advertisers as he could, which was Paul's worst nightmare. Paul commented that "People who like your stuff... No Way Man and Revolution, they kind of feel something for it you know... We would be seen as selling out, which we were not keen to do... Revolution wasn't a pair of sneakers." So... well... that was one of the strangest feuds between two musical icons.
